Heather's Famous Granola
Here's a tasty granola recipe to start your day off right. Mix up the flavor profile by adding additional toppings like dried fruit or chocolate chips after it has cooled.
- 3 cups dried oatmeal
- 1 cup pecan pieces
- 1/2 cup raw coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup raw sunflower kernels
- 1/3 cup raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 3/4 cup olive oil
Preheat oven to 325.
Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together.
Add maple syrup and olive oil.
Bake at 325 for approximately 25 minutes. Mixing halfway through.
Let cool for 1 hour.
Store in sealed container.
